
In 1994 Dr. Paul Evans launched a consulting venture under contract with IBM Fireworks Partners Ventures to serve as a base for leveraging his key domestic and international contacts in entertainment and multimedia. In 1995 Electronic Data Systems, Ross Perot’s IT services giant EDS (now Hewlett Packard) acquired Evans’ venture and launched EDS Management Consulting Services in Washington, DC, with Evans in a technology leadership role in the new company. In 1995 EDS bought ATKearney Management Consulting in a 50/50 cash/stock deal where Paul Evans became responsible for technology thought leadership for the firm and tech-management principal with European and Domestic technology clients. Subsequently EDS was purchased by Hewlett Packard.
